HOUSE BY THE SEA AFRICA collaborates with the Matobo Rhino Trust in their Community Engagement program near the National Park. We believe that the conservation of the Black and White Rhinos must go hand in hand with job creation for the area’s residents to reduce poaching and increase the general interest in nature conservation. But without tourists it is a difficult task. For now, we help in a small way to pay the salaries of local rangers who walk among the Rhinos every day to protect them. In the long term, we would like to do a development project with Arts and Crafts.
